Middle-Finger Sanskaari Emojis on WhatsApp: Hello Everyone. Should the “middle-finger emoji” become history in 15 days? Because an Indian advocate “Gurmeet Singh” has issued a legal notice to WhatsApp to remove the “middle-finger” emoji within two weeks. Techtalkies365 would like to offer 6 ‘Sanskaari’ emojis that could make your WhatsApp game stopped and might just be scraped off WhatsApp soon.
No Middle-Finger Sanskaari Emojis on WhatsApp?
An Indian advocate Gurmeet Singh said that the gesture was lewd and obscene in addition to being an offense in India. “As per the Indian Penal Code Sections 354 and 509, it is an offense to show indecent, lewd, offensive gestures to women… As per Section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994, showing off the middle finger is also an offense in Ireland,” Gurmeet Singh also mentioned in the notice that, “Showing of the middle finger is not only offensive but a highly aggressive, invasive, obscene, lewd gesture,”
While the case is being judged – or dismissed – we guessed it was time for some new emojis to be added to the ever-expanding list that could not only prove to be super-useful but are also Indian-sanskaar-approved.
